SPIR
Overview
SPIR is a wellness app designed to help users align their daily routines with their natural energy rhythms. I worked directly with the founding team to design the full app experience in Figma—from timeline check-ins to habit tracking, task suggestions, and progress visualization. My role focused on building a flexible system that blends science-backed routines with personal optimization, gamified progression, and minimalist UX.
Project Details
SPIR’s vision was to create a daily performance system, not just a habit tracker. I designed a UX that could guide users through intentional check-ins at key energy phases of the day: Morning Prep, Midday Recharge, and Evening Unwind.
Key deliverables included:
- Timeline-Based Daily Loadout UI Built a visual timeline that anchors the day around energy peaks, with check-in triggers that expand into habit/task inputs. This structure allows users to build and reflect on their routines rhythmically.
- Phase-Specific Task Input Sheets Designed task entry sheets with check-in time selectors (Morning / Midday / Unwind) instead of static time slots, helping reduce friction and increase adoption.
- Expandable Checklists + Suggestions Each timeline phase supports collapsible checklists that display either current tasks or a prompt to add new ones. In the expanded state, users get suggested habits based on that energy window—similar to what Rise or Levels does.
- Gamified Loadout Completion Created a gamified completion screen featuring:
- Daily streak tracker
- XP/point rewards
- Milestone awards
- Long-press “Claim All Points” button for added dopamine
- Focus Mode Designed two execution modes for users:
- Routine Mode: Check off tasks manually
- Timer Mode: Use in-app timers to flow through habits
- Figma Pro Prototyping System Built the entire UX in Figma using advanced prototyping features like variables and states, ensuring seamless transitions between check-ins, habit tracking, and rewards.
Why SPIR?
SPIR reflects my passion for longevity, energy management, and minimalist design. It’s a perfect example of turning bio-aligned routines into an elegant UX system, with gamification that encourages consistency, not stress. The final prototype hands off directly to dev with clarity, intention, and flow.
